Q. What are add-on domains?
Add-on domains point to the sub-directories of an existing web site you have with us. They allow you to run multiple domains with different content under one account.

Q. Do I have to register add-on domains as well?
Just adding an add-on domain via cPanel is not enough, you need to ensure the domain is registered and points to the nameservers. Use same nameserver/dns that you have used for your main account/domain.
Q. How many add-on domains can I have on my account?

Q. What nameservers do I use?
Nameservers/DNS are always mentioned in our account activation email, You should refer that.
Q. How do I add a parked domain to my account?
Log into your control panel and select 'Addon Domains'.
1) Enter the add-on domain name in the 'New Addon Domain' box. (do not include the www. prefix)
2) Choose a directory name, this will also be used as the username for FTP access create for the account.
3) Choose a password, this will be used to protect FTP access to the account.
Q. Do add-on domains have e-mail capabilities?
By default all mail sent to addon-domain.com is routed to your main e-mail account on your primarydomain.com. However from within your control panel you can modify this by changing the 'default address', you can also add POP accounts and forwarders based on your add-on domain.
Q. Can I add-on international domains to my account?
Yes, we support any valid international domain name.
Q. I create an add-on domain on my account yesterday and successfully changed the nameservers, yet it still isnt showing up in my web browser?
Once the nameservers have been successfully changed it could take up to 72 hrs for the domain changes to successfully propagate and the domain to resolve to your webspace at IndNet.Net. Please be patient. There is nothing we can do to speed up the process.
Q. How do I access add-on domains?
Add-on domains can be accessed via three ways:
1) http://www.<addondomain>.com
2) http://www.<primarydomain>.com/<username>
3) http://<username>.<primarydomain>.com
<addondomain> - add-on domain name you created.
<username> - refers to the directory/username you created for the add-on domain. <primarydomain> - refers to your main domain name on which you setup the add-on domain.
Option 1 may not be accessible until the domain name has been successfully transferred and the nameserver changes propagated across the Internet, this could take up to 72hrs.
Q. How do I FTP files to an add-on domain?
There are two ways you can use FTP to upload your files to the add-on domain:
1) FTP to your primary account and then navigate to the public_html directory and then to the directory/username you created for the add-on domain. Upload your files.
2) FTP to your primary domain with the user: username@primarydomain.com where username is username/directory for the add-on domain and then the password is the password you created for the add-on domain. This FTP account permits access to the add-on domain directory only.
Q. Do the add-on domains come with their own cPanel logon?
No, add-on domains are accessed through the main account's cPanel.
Q. Can I resell my add-on domains?
No, this is strictly not allowed. To resell accounts please review our reseller hosting options.
